Geoff Wilson, President and CEO of 352 Inc, joined Dana live in studio to discuss building a different kind of tech business and using teamwork to manage less and lead more.

352 Inc. is a digital product development agency headquartered in Atlanta, GA with offices in Tampa and Gainesville, FL. This agile group of developers brings ideas to reality for companies like AutoTrader, Microsoft and SocialNewsDesk through agile development and lean startup methodologies with expertise in user experience design, custom web and software development, digital marketing and more.

In the headlines:

  • A $300 million dollar redevelopment plan for Turner Field is not popular with the surrounding neighborhoods.  There was already some friction around what to do with the area between  Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed  and Fulton County Commission Chairman John Eaves.  Now the neighbors aren’t happy either.  The neighborhoods want more say over what goes into the development, including the possibility of more single-family housing. Some residents now object to the idea of adding more athletic facilities.
  • Three firms are vying for the contract to build the new hotel planned for Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.  The hotel will be the centerpiece of what city officials call an “Airport City.”
  • Atlanta’s quest to host the Nobel Peace Laureate Summit in November 2015 is officially over.  Apparently we couldn’t come to a peaceful solution that worked for everyone.  Major drama.  Kind of embarrassing.  The best thing about all this is that it’s over.
  • Coca-Cola has rolled out its first plastic bottle made completely from plant material. The bottle debuted at the World Expo-Milan, but no word on when it will be widely available.
