  • Apple CEO Tim Cook  and FBI Director James Comey have both been asked to testify before Congress about their views on breaking into an encrypted iPhone.
  • Yahoo will explore a sale of its core business without direct input from Chief Executive Marissa Mayer.

    In the local headlines:
    • Four of Atlanta’s biggest brands landed on Fortune magazine’s “Most Admired Companies” list for 2016.
    • TSA’s days may be numbered at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.  The general manager says the screening is so slow – they may get rid of the agency all together and go private.
    • Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Brookhaven are expected to launch a study to determine if gondolas might be a solution to growing traffic woes.  Yes, please.  Who doesn’t want real life to be more like an amusement park?  Or a ski vacation?
    • Georgia’s state Senate passed an amended version of a religious freedom bill Friday, sending it back to the House and infuriating critics who slam the revised measure as anti-gay and lesbian.
