Jazz, boat shoes and finding your purpose were all topics of discussion on today’s show as Camille Russell Love, Executive Director of the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs and Ex-Officio Member with the Atlanta Jazz FestivalTucket Footwear CEO and Founder, Dennis McCormick plus, Elle Luna, author of “The Crossroads of Should and Must” joined Dana live in studio.

The Atlanta Jazz Festival is regarded as one of the largest FREE jazz festivals in the country. An annual celebration of the music, culture and art of jazz begins in April and culminates each Memorial Day weekend, with an outdoor festival featuring jazz artists from all over the world.

Elle Luna is a designer, painter, and writer. Her essay “The Crossroads of Should and Must” went viral within a matter of weeks after its release. The post has now been extended into an illustrated, four color book.

  • A shocking loss in the tech world over the weekend. Dave Goldberg, the CEO of SurveyMonkey and the husband of Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg passed away at age 47.
  • More details are emerging on State Farms‘ plans for an urban environment at their new Dunwoody campus.
  • Frontier Airlines is adding 6 non-stops from Atlanta. Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Airline officials said flights would be as low as $19 one-way to New Orleans and $59 one-way to Minneapolis.
  • The Atlanta Falcons have announced that Equifax will be one of the 14 founding partners for the new Falcons stadium. The 10-year partnership will give the Atlanta-based company a big presence in the new stadium, including a branded zone that will provide Equifax the opportunity to engage new stadium patrons on each of the three main concourses. The partnership includes joint promotions, branded radio segments, prominent signage at the new stadium, on-field contests, digital programming and other advertising related to the company’s credit monitoring and identity protection products.
