DETAILS: Join us this March for a Sip & See in Cyclorama! Grab a cocktail and checkout the newly restored Battle of Atlanta cyclorama painting. Our new after–hours program series is hosted on the fourth Friday of each month and gives guests the chance to kick-off the weekend by grabbing a drink and exploring the museum.

WHAT: Waffle House Showdown

DETAILS: Join in for this light and lively event as out competitor chefs attempt to meet the demands of creating a Waffle House meal as determined by our judges within a set time limit. The competitors face off in the elimination rounds before the finalist meet to determine who will ultimately challenge the Waffle House Master Chef for the championship. While you watch and cheer on the competitors, patrons will enjoy a special breakfast buffet prepared by the Waffle House team. Judged by the Vice Chairman Emeritus of Waffle House, this very well could be the most fun you will have this spring.

WHAT: Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival

DETAILS: The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration in Blackburn Park. The festival is both family-friendly and dog-friendly with activities for all ages and all pooches. It began in 2014 when the City of Brookhaven planted 240 Yoshino and Kwanzan Cherry Trees in Blackburn Park. Attendees can stroll the artist market, buy food from local food trucks and vendors, have fun in the a Kidz Zone, check out the classic car show, participate in a 5k race, and hear live music. Musical guests include Spin Doctors, Romantics also to perform with Smash Mouth on Saturday, Wallflowers to close the festival on Sunday.

DETAILS: It’s a Motown, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy Lifetime Achievement double header featuring The Temptations (“My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg,” “I Wish It Would Rain,” “I Can’t Get Next to You,” “Just My Imagination”), and The Four Tops (“I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch),” “It’s the Same Old Song,” “Reach Out I’ll be There,” “Bernadette,” “Ain’t No Woman Like the One I’ve Got”). The Temptations include original member Otis Williams. The Four Tops include original member Abdul “Duke” Fakir.

Holographic recording artist Maya Kodes is the world’s first interactive, real-time virtual pop star, and on March 29 you’ll see her dancing and singing at the Ferst Center. She’s even going to share the stage with Atlanta dancers as they perform her recent hit, Beautiful!
This family-friendly performance is great for all ages. It takes a team of 15 creative professionals, including a singer and a dancer, to bring Maya to life. Enjoy this interactive world premiere concert and stay after the show for a backstage tour that shows you how it’s done.

WHAT: Second Annual Cherry Blossom Festival Celebration Game: Carolina Havoc at Georgia Doom

DETAILS: Join the Georgia Havoc indoor football team to celebrate the Macon International Cherry Blossom Festival. Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as over 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. For 10 days, festival-lovers are treated to one of the most extravagant displays of springtime color in the nation as they visit the town referred to by Congressional Records as the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World. The festival runs through March 31.
