WHAT: Third Annual Duluth Arts Festival

DETAILS: The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is thrilled to present the third annual Duluth Arts Festival. The two-day festival will be held in the fun, vibrant and culturally diverse City of Duluth; recognized as one of the fastest growing communities in the North Atlanta region and home to the largest and most enthusiastic art buying communities. Created for artists by artists, the festival will feature more than 85 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers and more. Festival goers will also have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations and enjoy gourmet food trucks with healthy alternatives, live acoustic music, dance performances and much more. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages and dogs are welcome.

WHAT: The Inman Park Festival
WHEN: Friday, April 26 12-4 p.m., Saturday – Sunday April 27-28, 12-6 p.m.

COST: The festival is free, but the tour of homes costs either $20 or $25, depending on time of purchase.
DETAILS: The Inman Park Festival is a spring festival that has been called Atlanta’s most spirited and eclectic festival. Inman Park, one of Atlanta’s oldest neighborhoods, will come to life during the festival as guests enjoy a street parade, an artists’ market, a tour of homes, activities for children and live music.
The festival features events such as a dance festival, arts and crafts show and street market, live music performed at three different venues around the park and more. Festival goers can sample foods from local restaurants as well as a collection of food trucks and vendors. For children, the Inman Park Festival Kidzone features juggling, silks, slackrope, hula hoops and more for a circus-themed party. The parade begins at Edgewood and Euclid on April 28 at 2 p.m. (rain or shine) and runs to Austin Avenue at the foot of Little Five Points.
Friday’s event is a preview tour of homes only, and the festival and tours continue Saturday and Sunday.

DETAILS: Families are invited to visit Children’s Museum of Atlanta free of charge for Family Free Day on Wednesday, May 1. Throughout the day, kids will be introduced to STEM and sports activities in a festival-like atmosphere celebrating innovation and creativity. Made possible by the support of the PNC Foundation, The Coca-Cola Foundation and CareSource, the three sessions will also offer the chance for kids to explore the Museum’s six permanent, interactive exhibits as well as feature exhibit Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action™, which runs through May 27, 2019.

DETAILS: National Golf Day is coming up on Wednesday, May 1, and Topgolf is celebrating by offering free golf lessons to anyone who walks in the doors.
