On May 11, celebrate Mother’s Day early with a DIY Flower Workshop on The Roof at Ponce City Market from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. The workshop, hosted by Atlanta’s Flower Bar, will teach guests to create expertly-designed floral bouquets while taking in unforgettable views of the Atlanta skyline at 9 Mile Station. The event is $80 per person, which will cover the cost of a 4-course family-style brunch, all workshop materials, and a beautiful floral arrangement to take home.

The eleventh annual Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival will return to beautiful Chastain Park along Park Drive in Buckhead on Mother’s Day weekend. Produced by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the award-winning, two-day festival features more than 185 painters,  photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft artisans, glass blowers, jewelers and more. Event goers are also invited to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in hands-on activities. The festival will also have a children’s area, food trucks, beverages and a small stage for live acoustic music performances. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.
