Armed with the story of the now infamous and controversial photo (yes…THAT photo), the fiery redheaded, award-winning, American comedian is bringing the story of the photo heard ‘round the world and the fallout that followed, along with breaking down everything in the pop-culture landscape from Trump to the Kardashians.  Griffin tells all in this more than 2-hour no-holds-barred show in the raw, honest, and engaging way fans have always loved about her.

WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 22, 6:15 a.m. race line- up
WHERE: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
COST: $40 Timed Runner, $35 Untimed Runner, $35 Virtual Runner, In-person registrations are sold out, but don’t sweat! The virtual race is still available.
DETAILS: You’ve flown over it, you’ve driven under it, now run on it! The Mayor’s 5K on the 5th Runway, hosted by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, is back! Get ready to lace up your shoes and run or walk the fifth runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Sept. 22. Experience this special opportunity to race on one of the flattest – and fastest – courses in metro Atlanta! The proceeds from the race will benefit the Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program. This is a USATF-certified 5K course / AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

WHAT: Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade
WHEN: Saturday, September 22, 2018, 7:00 p.m. line-up, 8:00 p.m. parade steps off
WHERE: Parade begins on the Eastside Trail where it crosses Irwin Street / Lake Avenue and winds north to Piedmont Park.
COST: It’s free and open to all to participate and walk in the parade – no registration necessary!
DETAILS: The Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade debuted on the Atlanta art scene in 2010, and has been growing ever since. It has grown from 1,200 participants and tailgaters along the parade route in 2012 to more than 70,000 people in 2017 for an awe-inspiring spectacle of lights and sounds.

WHAT: Inaugural Buckhead Fine Arts Festival
WHEN: Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

DETAILS: The Atlanta Foundation For Public Spaces Presents the Inaugural Buckhead Fine Arts Festival! The new two-day fine arts festival will feature approximately 100 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers and more. Festival goers can also soak up the sun while enjoying artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, beverages and gourmet food trucks with healthy alternatives. Free to the public, this festival is rain or shine, open to all ages and four-legged friends are welcome.
