In the headlines:
- Atlanta been named the #1 place people move to again in 2014. This comes from a list put out every year by Penske, based on one-way truck rentals.
- Scott Smith, the CEO of WRS (the company set to develop Underground Atlanta) has submitted a preliminary site plan to the city. As of right now, it includes 1,000 residential units which WRS will sub out to a residential developer, as they specialize in retail.
- Six Georgians are the first to sue Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia over the recent data breach. The shocking news in this story is that Anthem allegedly was storing social security numbers without encryption. Really guys?
- A proposed bridge over 285 to the new Braves Stadium (SunTrust Park) could be a double-decker-doozie, with the top deck used for pedestrians and the bottom for cars. Kinda cool. The downside is that we’re not currently sure where the $9 million bucks to build said bridge is coming from.
