A Fourth Book in the Millennium Trilogy?

According the Guardian online site guardian.co.uk, it’s official – The Girl Who Knew Stieg Larsson – his long time partner Eva Gabrielsson is going to write (or at least complete) the fourth novel in the Millennium series.  Word is Steig himself wrote about 200 pages before his untimely death and as they “often wrote together” Eva feels certain she can finish the book.

I guess they won’t be able to call it a trilogy anymore.  So what do we call it now?  A quadrilogy?  According to one site I found while googling — quadrilogy is actually a word, but that same site goes on to say that a series of three or more books is just called “series”.  Bor-ing.  Maybe we could coin a new term:  how ’bout quadry or quadzo or my favorite… quadstache.  Just a thought.

What do you think about the rumor that she actually wrote the first three? Wouldn’t surprise me simply due to the attention paid to what the characters ate and wore. How many male authors make that much note of those 2 things?? To quote you…I’m just saying….

Fair question Cindy. According to the articles I read she did have a pretty big hand in the other books. I would think her memoir would detail more of that.

And I’m sure his father and other family members will say she’s lying!
