In the guest chair:
Our Regular Contributor, Franchise Consultant Leslie Kuban (Frannet) joined us in studio to talk about how to start a business and sell it for a lot of money! She gave some very specific tips for you to be thinking about whether you’re thinking about starting a business or you’re already in one.
If you want to learn more about franchise opportunities, and meet Leslie in person, check out the Franchise Opportunities Expo this weekend at the Cobb Galleria. Leslie Kuban will be there all weekend and she’ll be speaking Saturday at 12:30PM. Listeners of the show can contact Leslie for FREE entrance into the event!
In the headlines:
- Some enterprising Atlantan’s plan to make money the old fashioned way by stealing it. The pair walked into Dillard’s at Atlantic Station grabbed about $4,000 in Michael Kors handbags and walked right out the door.
- Atlanta joins the legal fight over Uber as Atlanta taxicab drivers file suit saying that Uber is braking the law by not having their drivers licensed here and by recruiting limo drivers who operate under a different set of rules.
- Another local company focused on cybersecurity has gotten 1.5 million in funding. This one is very James Bond like – focusing on securing possible open doors for hackers that are being created by the Internet of Things.
- And here’s a positive sports story for a change – Atlanta Major League Soccer has named it’s first President. We’ll tell you who he is and why he’s the right man for the job.
Other stuff:
