In the guest chair:
CEO and Founder of PerfectPost, Rob Kischuk joined me in the studio today to share his entrepreneurial journey (which includes meeting and getting an investment from Mark Cuban) as well as to talk about social media strategy and some of the common mistakes companies make.
Rob shared some of what he’s learned about running a successful contest on social media and mentioned that PerfectPost has very affordable services for small companies as well as turnkey packages for bigger firms. Of note: PerfectPost is not just offering consulting services, but actually a tool you can use to optimize your social media.
In the headlines:
- A couple more CNN anchors leaving Atlanta for New York. Kind of a bummer that the opportunities at CNN are no longer here in town.
- A Microsoft cybersecurity exec says passwords are dead and suggests other ways to log in.
- Atlanta History Center is about to undergo a major renovation.
- Georgia Nuclear Project forging ahead. This is the first major nuclear plant in something like 30 years. Though it got a bad rap after the Three Mile Island incident, nuclear power is both safe and very clean.
