In the guest chair:
Dr. Craig Forest, founder of The Capstone Design Expo at Georgia Tech came by to talk about some amazing inventions by students, the entrepreneurial spirit at Georgia Tech, AND how companies are getting age old problems solved and recruiting his students right off the expo floor!
Some of the cool inventions he talked about… surround sound that follows you around the room, a better pecan cracker (saving a Georgia company millions) and a black box type recorder for motorcycle helmets.
In the headlines:
- It’s officially official. Major League Soccer is coming to Atlanta in 2017 thanks to Arthur Blank who paid between $70 million and $100 million for the team. He’s making Dads everywhere look bad buying this team for his soccer loving son. 🙂
- Governor Deal says “I’m busy” and declines a spot at the podium at the upcoming Republican Primary debate. Really? Is he washing his hair that night?
- We shared some updates on Atlanta brands Coke and Home Depot
If you liked Cheerios on Facebook, you will not be able to sue General Mills… for anything… ever. This gets me totally fired up. Totally fired up.
