In the guest chair:
Maria Goldsholl COO of Mom Corps joined me to talk about work/life balance and how moms (and dads) are getting back in to the work force in more flexible ways.
We talked about resume gaps, working from home and what the government should do to help (if anything!).
Maria also shared the history of Mom Corps and their newest venture Mom Corps YOU which is a members only program for serious of job seekers and those looking to achieve work-life satisfaction.
In the headlines:
- Now that the Lenox Mall renovations are complete, Phipps Plaza is set to get it’s makeover next.
- And while we’re on the subject of retail, the women’s clothing retailer ColdWater Creek is closing all its stores – including 12 here in Georgia. We’ll talk about what happened.
- Is Atlanta Icon Coke in trouble? Profits are down and they’re betting a lot on millenials and those fancy “Freestyle” machines of theirs.
- And speaking of Coke – they are one of several Georgia companies that could be impacted by the escalating Russia-Ukraine conflict.
And don’t forget to come out tonight for The Food Network’s Gina and Pat Neely at the Atlanta History Center! I’m interviewing them on stage – and hope to see you there!
